Clarifi Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated Spanish Interpreter to provide support in special education classrooms within school districts across Illinois. This position offers an exciting opportunity to facilitate communication between Spanish-speaking students, families, and school staff, ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities and services. The Spanish Interpreter will play a crucial role in promoting inclusivity and supporting the academic success of students with diverse linguistic backgrounds.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide interpretation services during special education classroom activities, including instruction, meetings, assessments, and parent-teacher conferences.

- Facilitate communication between Spanish-speaking students, families, and school staff to ensure understanding of educational content, expectations, and support services.

- Assist teachers and special education staff in delivering instructions and clarifying concepts for Spanish-speaking students.

- Translate educational materials, documents, and correspondence between English and Spanish as needed.

- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement strategies for supporting Spanish-speaking students' academic and social-emotional needs.

- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interpreting sensitive information and adhering to ethical standards of practice.

- Support students' language development and literacy skills through targeted interventions and activities as directed by classroom teachers and speech-language pathologists.

Requirements

- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

- Previous experience as an interpreter or translator, preferably in an educational or special education setting.

- Knowledge of educational terminology and concepts in both English and Spanish.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff from diverse backgrounds.

- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
