Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver wax figure maintenance to Madame Tussauds world class standard and ensure targets for figure quality KPI’s are met.

• Ensure all wax figure maintenance requirements are delivered within agreed schedules and budgets.

• Make repairs as appropriate to damaged wax figures.

• Ensure the maintenance of wax figures is done at the appropriate time and in line with Madame Tussauds brand guidelines – damaged figures removed where necessary for repair according to Madame Tussauds protocols.

• Install wax figures as required, ensuring figure positioning, lighting, and styling meet the approved figure brief.

• Attend on site wax figure PR events as required, ensure figures are prepared correctly and on time.

• Take wax figures to agreed locations as required for offsite PR events or market research. Ensure figures displayed off site are done so according to Madame Tussauds brand values and quality standards.

• Ensure heads are packed appropriately for freight or storage as required and meet agreed timings for pick up.

• Ensure Merlin Health & Safety procedures are always followed.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance of a world class product within a timeframe to meet specific PR requirements and KPI’s for Madame Tussauds.

• Ensuring a world class standard of wax figure maintenance is critical to the ongoing success of the Madame Tussauds brand worldwide and has a direct impact on customer KPI’s.

 • Maintain wax figures to a world class standard, ensuring excellent lifelike quality is achieved through the assessment of reference and utilizing appropriate methods and materials. • Regularly review customer feedback on figures and identify ways to maintain the lifelike quality of Madame Tussauds figures.

• Work closely with Studio Manager- Figure Maintenance Manager for US to ensure figures are maintained to the right standard and any figure quality issues are addressed.

• Work closely with attraction manager and operational team to ensure wax figure maintenance is delivered on time, to budget and in line with the day to day operation of the attraction.

• Act as ambassador for Madame Tussauds brand at celebrity PR events and color checks as required. • Able to work in a small team- team player is a must!

• Use of specialist maintenance expertise to ensure accurate, lifelike quality is achieved for wax figures.

• Ensure figure maintenance work is completed in agreed timeframes so that attraction PR requirements are met, and figure production targets are achieved.

• Ensure all figure maintenance files and reference are kept in good order.

• Ensure all purchases made for the maintenance team or facility are within an agreed budget.

• Ensure the implementation of work practices that comply with Merlin Health and Safety requirements.

• Ensure effective use of hair and coloring materials and consumables.

• Identify solutions to problems encountered during wax figure maintenance, seek out appropriate reference and support from Figure Maintenance Manager and MMM Studios.

• Ensure effective monitoring of quality of wax figure maintenance through review of customer KPI’s. • Main responsibilities may vary based on site.

• Other duties as assigned.

Health & Safety:

 Employees are responsible for the safety of themselves, their colleagues, and guests (where appropriate), in line with the Group Policy (HS001) and the law. Must ensure they follow safe working procedures for all work activities they undertake, and they must not use any tools or equipment for which they have not been trained. Where incidents do occur, must ensure they are reported to their line manager and cooperate with any investigation as appropriate in accordance with applicable laws.

Education and Experience:

 High school diploma or GED. Relevant fine art or technical arts degree or equivalent training. Experience in painting and maintaining wax heads ideally, or experience in relevant industry such as film special effects make up, theatre or fine art. Requires specialist painting experience in a variety of materials. Experience in hair styling and/or hair insertion. Work Environment: Depending on location, work may be performed inside or outside with varying temperatures and floor surfaces. Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends to support site operations.
