As a Full Time Systems Architect - Expert at Mission Intelligence Group, you'll play a crucial role in providing systems architecture support for a Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination, and Storage (TCPED-S) tasker. Dive deep into the realms of airborne and spaceborne architecture for the NSG and ASG, working closely with the NSG's chief architect to shape the future of information technology. Your expertise will be instrumental in leading the design and development of solutions for intricate application problems, API design, data services, and more.

To thrive in the role of Full Time Systems Architect - Expert at Mission Intelligence Group, you'll need a diverse skill set and a knack for effective communication and collaboration. Engage with various stakeholders across NGA KCs, NSG, ASG, USAF, USN, OUSDI, ODNI, COCOMs, and project-related contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Assist the Government Project Manager in developing TCPED-S for new remote-sensing capabilities and enhancing wiring diagrams to optimize processing efficiency.

In this role you will:

  • Communicate and collaborate with members across the NGA KCs, NSG and ASG to include the USAF, USN, OUSDI, ODNI, COCOMs and all contractors related to the project.
  • Assist Government Project Manager (PM) with ensuring the TCPED-S is properly developed for an NSG developed new remote-sensing capability supporting NSG customers.
  • Improve TCPED-S wiring diagrams to include processing required at each node transmission lines and content flowing between nodes location of each node and POCs at each node. One or more nodes involve cloud-based processing.
  • Capture critical paths for each primary process at each node and the progress of each critical path solution; track the POCs responsible.
  • Perform a high-level assessment of risk across the TCPED-S plan to inform resource management.
  • Schedule reoccurring meetings to address the requirement to mitigate risk associated with critical paths and process development where appropriate in the TCPED-S process.
  • Develop Gantt charts for the major processes for all nodes and all transmission lines.
  • Capture contact information for all POCs responsible for all tasks to be performed for each part of the TCPED.
  • Develop briefings associated with the TCPED-S development as needed by the PM.
  • Assist PM with the final deliverable of design documentation for the TCPED Concept of Operations (CONOPS)/Concept of Employment (CONEMP).
  • Assist PM in obtaining certification for throughput with each of the TCPED stakeholders
  • Oversees and coordinates the work of Senior-Mid-and Junior-level System Architect contractors.

Education/experience required for the position are:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Expert working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or IC Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
  • Expert working experience, knowledge, and understanding of satellites, GEOINT, Hyperspectral Imagery (HSI), LiDAR, Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI) data integration, GCCS-M, Remote Sensing capability, MEDAL, Quellfire, UVDS, FSG SIPR Cloud, USAF DCGS, and USN DCGS.
  • Expert working experience in creating wiring diagrams illustrating data flow between various Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) entities.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, IC and NGA cloud computing environments (C2S).
  • Working understanding of data flow between cloud computing environments, and have knowledge of various security domains (SIPR, JWICS).
  • Working experience in capturing high-level plan risk, critical paths, and depicting a project using Gantt charts.

Desired Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
  • Federated Enterprise Architect Certifications: Certified Enterprise Architect
  • National Defense University, College of Information and Cyberspace, Enterprise Architecture Certification

Education Requirement:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Expert level work experience as a System Architect.

Security Clearance Requirement :

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
