Devops Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and core deployment system. In this role, you will bridge the gap between software development and infrastructure operations, driving automation, high availability, and security across our software delivery pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
2. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines (using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI) to ensure fast and reliable code deployments.
3. Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) to maintain microservice reliability, scaling, and deployment consistency.
4. Monitoring, Observability & Alerting: Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack) to proactively detect operational issues and ensure uptime targets (SLAs/SLOs).
5. Security & Compliance (DevSecOps): Integrate security tools and best practices throughout the software development life cycle, including secrets management (HashiCorp Vault), identity access control (IAM), and vulnerability scanning.
6. Incident Management & Reliability: Participate in system troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and incident response. Participate in on-call rotation schedules as required.
7. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with software developers, QA teams, and security specialists to streamline releases, improve developer productivity, and maintain system documentation.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Skills & Experience

1. Cloud Platforms: 3+ years of experience managing public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
2. Infrastructure Automation: Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or similar tools.
3. Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration (Helm, EKS, GKE).
4. CI/CD Expertise: Proven track record building automated deployment pipelines via GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
5. Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or Go to automate system workflows.
6. Networking & Security: Solid understanding of DNS, VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, TLS/SSL certificates, and cloud IAM frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

1. Professional certification on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA).
2. Experience with database management, scaling, and migrations (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
3. Familiarity with zero-downtime deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary releases)
