This role will collaborate closely with cybersecurity experts, market leads, project managers, and Global Technology Solutions teams to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of McDonald’s security services. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing and collaborating with the support teams that handle tickets and other operational tasks for McDonald’s security services. This person will work closely with others in Global Technology Risk Management and other areas of Global Technology to ensure that our services are meeting the needs of markets, application teams, and other stakeholders.

Job Description



McDonald’s is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to support our cybersecurity team as we protect our global brand. You will collaborate closely with cybersecurity guides, Global Technology teams, suppliers, and business leaders to assess technology risk across McDonald’s. In addition, the Senior Risk Analyst will help in driving the development, deployment, and maintenance of our global policies and standards, and help build a more secure culture through security awareness. As a Senior Risk Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in helping us engage with vendors and partners and help accelerate the third-party risk management program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business demand management and engagement for Cybersecurity and manage product roadmap and releases to adopt and accelerate usage across the business
  • Work with the business to upskill people across the organization, enabling collaborators on key business differentiators across strategy execution and value cases for Cybersecurity
  • Help to translate technical requirements into action items to improve higher level roadmap procedures
  • Ability to communicate, strengthen and deliver product roadmap processes including data gathering, tooling, and reporting for senior leadership
  • Bring value realization in data driven decisions for KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics. You will help the business best understand how Cybersecurity is providing to value to the overall McDonald’s ecosystem
  • Accountable for leading projects with moderate risk. Run budget and directs activities of the projects teams

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from various sources
  • Ability to lead collaborator expectations and resolve conflict
  • Ability to validate data obtained via other techniques and expose new areas for elicitation
  • Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to build and grow connections with people of all types and backgrounds from all over the world
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to influence multiple parties towards common goals
  • Highly collaborative along with independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and thorough, with the ability to keep many engagements active at once
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty
  • Naturally elevates others and creates a culture of belonging through engaging successful teams

Experience

  • 8+ years of technology capability experience across multiple IT practices that may include infrastructure leadership, service management leadership, technology operations, data management and business relationship management
  • 5+ years experience in partnering with senior/executive level resources to produce product roadmaps
  • Hands on exposure to following areas/tools:
  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint especially)
  • Smartsheet
  • Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Process mapping/design (Visio, Miro, Roadmunk)
  • Have orchestrated a digital transformation to help improve an organization’s product vision and how to scale at an enterprise/global level
  • Familiar with standard methodologies for chargeback models and shared services
  • Solid experience in process improvement, with an emphasis on analytics and process management (prior experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools preferred)
  • Ability to generate compelling business cases and translate to action
  • Bachelor's degree Computer Science/Engineering/Technology
