Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and execution of banquet menus, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation
  • Supervise and motivate a team of cooks, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Collaborate with the banquet chef to develop creative and innovative menu options
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ensure efficient and smooth operation of the banquet kitchen during events
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary
  • Adhere to banquet event schedules and timelines
  • Assist in menu planning and cost control measures

  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary arts degree is a plus
  • Proven experience as a banquet cook or in a similar culinary role
  • Strong knowledge of banquet food preparation techniques and presentation
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Creativity and passion for culinary arts
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional quality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
