Job Summary

Bilingual Analyst – Foodbuy Data Intelligence - Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA

Provide business application support, process/systems analysis, documentation, deployment, and French translation support services for Compass Group, North American field operations. Works extensively with business customers and technology/project team members to define and deliver complex business solutions. 

 
Recipe to Succeed: 

• Quickly master an online ordering solution (e-procurement, e-business websites), ideally with educational background in Information Systems or Supply Chain. 
• Speak, translate, and provide phone/online/written support to our French-Canadian business. 
• Work with business and technology team members to gather, assess, translate, and define business requirements according to end-user needs.
• Work with business and technology team members to define, document, schedule and manage business and project-related activities.
• Assist with providing impact/solution option assessments to offer workable, efficient business processes and solutions.
• Assist with defining and implementing testing strategy within business area to ensure the functionality, accuracy, and quality of solutions/processes.
• Produce high quality documentation, including procedural, operational, functional, configuration, requirements and process flow documents/use case and diagrams in both English and French.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and strict deadlines in a challenging environment.
• Assist with defining and implementing training and deployment strategies. 
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement process/procedure strategies to prevent recurrence.

Necessary Ingredients: 

• Fluency in French – both verbal and written. This role is responsible for supporting operations in the Province of Quebec, and will need to provide supporting documentation, as well as live phone and online support with our French-Canadian partners.
• Ability to quickly grasp software application functionality and provide translated end-user training and procurement solutions and documentation. 
• Strong analytics mindset, with the ability to assess the future impact of decisions made, based on current environment or events.
• Ability to support “Big Picture” thinking, and mentor/guide others when appropriate.
• Effective organization and planning skills. 
• Solid skill set in Microsoft Office 2007/2010; specifically Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Word.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. 
• Service oriented, collaborative approach to internal customer and peer relationships.
• Working knowledge of business processes and ability to re-engineer them preferable. 
• Working knowledge of various project management methodologies
• Team Player and self-starter, goal oriented, with a strong desire to succeed.
