Requirements

Buyer: This is where you come in.

We’re looking for a Buyer to procure commodities, materials, equipment and services to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, in addition to price, quality and delivery requirements. This requires strong communication skills to understand the needs of the business, clarify expectations with internal business partners and suppliers to sustain continuity of the supply chain. The Buyer role reports to Scott McGraw / Director of Procurement on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have…

  • A track record of delivering best value procurement solutions through purchasing or supply chain management, minimum 5 years experience required.
  • Expertise leveraging in depth knowledge of MEP industry, specifically equipment, parts, materials, and specialties.
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, or direct construction industry experience is preferred.
