JOB DESCRIPTION The FOX Studio Lot is looking for a Cashier/Barista to join their team in Los Angeles, CA.


A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make coffee using different types of espresso machines
• Make smoothies, acai bowls, juice drinks, and other juice bar items
• Assist in serving bakery items, and quick grab & go healthy eats
• Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness in the café, juice bar, and other assigned areas
• Clean and maintain all the café/ juice bar equipment and small wares
• Hold strictly to current health & safety standards set in place by the LA Department of Health
• Tender dining cards and credit card transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Bank reconciliation
• Enter catering & craft services sales orders into POS and closes out guest checks
• Take and process delivery & pickup orders
• Other duties or outlet positions, as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Experience as a Barista/Cashier preferred, ideally in a Coffee Shop, Restaurant, Hotel, or similar
• Basic math skills and cash handling experience
• Strong customer service background
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Available to work overtime
• Ability to remain stationary for periods of up to three hours in length and be able to bend and stoop on occasion
• Ability to lift heavy objects

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

• High school diploma or equivalent
• POS System Experience, preferred

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $19.17-20.63 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
