You will lead a team of sous chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring smooth coordination, efficient workflow, and the delivery of exceptional Italian-inspired dishes to our guests. 1. **Collaborative Menu Development:**
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal menus that showcase the best of Italian cuisine, incorporating fresh, locally sourced ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
- Contribute creative ideas and culinary expertise to menu planning and development, ensuring a balance of classic favorites and exciting new offerings. 2. **Kitchen Operations Management:**
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation, to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to recipe standards.
- Supervise a team of sous chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high performance and morale. 3. **Quality Control and Standards:**
- Maintain strict quality control measures to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence, including food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and portion control.
- Conduct regular inspections and tasting sessions to ensure that all dishes meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and guest satisfaction. 4. **Team Leadership and Development:**
- Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment built on collaboration, respect, and open communication.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to kitchen staff to support their professional development and growth within the organization. 5. **Guest Experience Enhancement:**
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining room, striving to exceed guest expectations and create memorable dining experiences.
- Actively engage with guests to solicit feedback, address concerns, and enhance overall satisfaction with the dining experience. 6. **Budgeting and Cost Control:**
- Manage kitchen budgets, food costs, and inventory levels to optimize profitability while maintaining quality and freshness.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements without compromising on quality or guest experience. **Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale Italian restaurant environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine, cooking techniques, and culinary trends, with a passion for authenticity and creativity.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of culinary professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training required. **Benefits:**
