Cleaner - Boston Harbor City Cruises

Boston Harbor City Cruises is seeking a Cleaner for our operation in Boston, MA. About You: This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System. About the Opportunity: The successful Restaurant Cleaner is a motivated, dependable self-starter, has a positive attitude, and possesses good communication skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment, keeping the vessels and facilities clean and “Show Ready” at all times. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Comply with safety practices, policies, and procedures.
• Cleaning common areas (restrooms, offices, dining areas, hallways) including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning, and emptying trash.
• Work with a “safety-first” attitude.
• Ensure all facility, guest and crew accidents, incidents, safety hazards, and violations, including those that create harm, are promptly reported and the necessary forms are completed.
• Communicate with Senior Management regarding any issues affecting health, welfare, and safety of guests, crew, assets, and facilities.
• Seek ways to minimize impact on the environment at all times.
• Demonstrate RESPECT values and QUEST Hospitality Behaviors with internal and external guests.
• Additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in Cleaning and Maintenance.
• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, rotate, and reach frequently.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders safely.
• Ability to maneuver in and around small/confined areas within the vessel.
• Must be able to keep balance on a docked vessel while completing various position duties.
• Ability to problem solve basic repairs.
• Be able to work in a variety of temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
