Cooks! (Brunswick) Location Brunswick, OH :

Position Description

As an Applebee's® Cook, you will make our amazing menu items worth coming back for. You need to be a great communicator and be able to work as part of a team in fast-pace environment. You will work hard, but have a great time doing it!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepares menu items according to Applebee's Recipes, Plate Presentations and specifications.

· Completes all assigned prep work.

· Sets up workstation according to station diagram.

· Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times.

· Temps all food items per Applebee's specifications.

· Cleans and sanitizes the work area before, during and after shift.

· Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.

· All other job duties assigned by a manager to ensure the effective and orderly operations of the restaurant.

Education and Experience

· Current High School student, or an individual with a High School Diploma or GED

· Prior restaurant service experience preferred

· Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required

Physical Standards:

· Must have ability to remain stationary for long periods of up to four (4) hours in length.

· Must be able to safely reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

· Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to employees and dining room staff

· Possession of finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
