• Have the ability to lift and carry 5-55 lbs.

• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationApplicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas.

Preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.

Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.

Unloading and storing deliveries.

Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.

Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.

Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.

Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

Jerry's Restaurants were originally founded by the Goucher family in 1964. The chain grew to over 50 locations throughout the western states. The concept, named after Grandma Goucher's son, Jerry, was based on the many popular coffeeshop style restaurants of the time. Simple, classic, American food served in a friendly, always open, environment was a winner then, and to this day, proves to be something that continues to resonate with both young and old alike.
