The AC by Marriott Hotel at the Vancouver waterfront is currently seeking a Executive Housekeeper to join our growing team! The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas of the hotel to have them ready for guests according to the policies and procedures of the hotel.The 150-room AC by Marriott Hotel opened in June 2022, featuring 7,000 sq ft of event space (all with river view), restaurant and lounge with outdoor seating, and spectacular views of the Columbia River.

Responsibilities * Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff
- Assign daily boards to housekeeping team members
- Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives
- Monitor and maintain a level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas
- Compile and report accurate status of guest rooms to front office
- Oversee all housekeeping duties
- Maintain productivity and labor cost goals
- Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing linen inventories and cleaning supplies
- Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment
- Ensure quality services are rendered in meeting guest needs and that guest relations are enhanced
- Ensure satisfactory scores with brand by preparing for audits, evaluating results, and collaborating with management and team with necessary improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications* High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility required
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be flexible with working nights, holidays.
- Weekends required
