Job Description - Hozpitality - Hotel Breakfast Server

Description Company Overview: Hyatt Regency Green Bay is seeking a Hotel Breakfast Server. We are located in the in the heart of downtown and home to the Green Bay Packers. The hotel is minutes away from major sporting events, cultural activities, entertainment, museums, and attractions. We are the largest, full-service hotel in the market with 241 all-suite guest rooms and 80,000 square feet of space. We believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive colleagues who are focused on providing meaningful connections and memorable experiences. We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our fun, creative and innovative team. Goals of the Breakfast Server: The Breakfast Server must demonstrate fundamental F&B knowledge, and is responsible for the overall success of service during their shift. This position plays a significant role in the overall performance of the Food and Beverage team, which includes product quality and service standards.   • Maintain a positive, high energy attitude with a professional appearance.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Gain menu knowledge and be able to give recommendations to the guests.
  • Responsible for submitting breakfast and lunch menu selections.
  • Servers will engage in casual conversation and must maintain an attractive setting.
  • Style and service attributes are key to creating memorable guest experiences with personalized and friendly customer service
  • Fast-paced environment with constant customer interaction and cash handling
  • Must maintain a well-organized area, a sanitary environment and restocking station as needed
  • Foster an atmosphere where guests' need, and satisfaction take top priority, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, continuously walk throughout the restaurant, and lift 10-20lbs.
  • Abide by all organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, available from 5:30am to 2:00pm for an 8-hour shift, at least three times a week, including one weekend a month and holidays
  • Strong food, N/A beverage, and alcohol knowledge
  • Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management & multi-tasking skills with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Enthusiasm and a hands-on mentality
  • A true representative of the company to customers, employees, and the public
  • Must be aware of proper telephone etiquette
  • Strong verbal communication skills
