Description Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Tidal + team as our On-Call Food Runner at the Hyatt at Olive 8! Tidal+ is the signature restaurant of Hyatt at Olive 8, providing guests with pairings showcasing the bounty of the Pacific Ocean, and the harvests from the lands of the Pacific Northwest. Tidal+ takes great pride in working with our local community to ensure quality and dependability, and serve fresh sea & farm -to-table dishes to our guests. We welcome a reliable and energetic Food Runner, responsible primarily for assisting the Tidal + Server in serving the guest by delivering food orders from the kitchen efficiently and accurately. Additional service includes clearing/cleaning tables, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, delivering any additional items guests may need, and ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast paced position with continual customer contact. Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy in delivering orders and verify contents before presenting to customers.
• Assist in bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, dining, and serving areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and efficient service.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customers' needs and inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.

The hourly rate for this position is $19.97 to $20.37. The starting rate for this position is $19.97/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for four years, which is $20.37/hour. This position earns additional compensation from gratuities and tips given at the guest's discretion to the Tidal + serving team, as well as service charges on applicable orders.
