The Chocolate Avenue Grill in Hershey, PA is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Line Cook to prepare restaurant food in a timely fashion on a kitchen assembly line. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LINE COOK

As a Line Cook at our restaurant, you arrive each day determined to ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen lives up to our standards of quality. To begin, you set up and stock each station with all necessary supplies. You prepare food for service which includes, but is not limited to, chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces. In cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, you cook menu items to the exact specifications. Throughout the day, you carefully listen to and follow the chef's instructions. Your attention to detail ensures that each dish meets our established guidelines in every aspect as well as adheres to any special requests.

To make sure that properly cooked food gets out to guests in a timely manner, you communicate effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff while working in an organized, coordinated, and efficient manner. You maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas at all times and follow food sanitation standards. You love working in a fast-paced culinary environment. Your friendly attitude and professional approach towards coworkers and guests alike contribute greatly to the success of our restaurant!
