Job Description

• Overnight In Room Dining coordinator is responsible for delivering and clearing food and beverage orders to and from guest rooms according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Also assisting in the maintenance of the In Room Dining area and equipment.
• Operate the computer system for order-taking, check printing, closing out checks and printing reports.
• Maintain knowledge of all menus (including Daily Specials, Alternative Cuisine, wine list, etc.) and of the service of food and beverage items offered by the department and the hotel.
• Up sell to guests as well as confirm their order before thanking them.
• Complete side work as assigned.
• Record all guest charges, gratuities and cash transactions accurately.
• Coordinate between the server and kitchen for smooth, coordinated service.
• Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in applicable outlets.
• Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• 1 year food and beverage serving and/or related food and beverage experience at a luxury hotel or restaurant.
• Above average knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work as Overnight Shift 
• U.S. work authorization is required to be consider for this position
