Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is hiring full-time Pastry Cooks to join our team at Space 220 in Orlando, Florida. As a Pastry Cook, you will prepare the bakery products at Space 220 and ensure all items are served in a timely manner to the highest freshness and quality.

- Prepare sweet items, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, restaurant-plated desserts according to guest orders and banquet event orders
- Ensure all dishes are in accordance with production requirements and quality standards
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
- Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up
- Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat to grill
- Participates in the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mise-en-place and set-up station
- Basic math skills; ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to follow procedures and take directions; work as a team player.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift.
