Plumbing Mechanic

Aerotek is hiring multiple plumber mechanics for a reputable company in New York! We offer stability and weekly pay, must be able to work in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Shift:  Monday-Friday

Hours: 6:45 AM - 3:30 PM (40+ Hours Weekly)

Pay Rate: $28- $35/hr depending on experience.

Job Description:

• Experienced with cast iron no hub and copper installations for commercial construction
• Abide to all plumbing codes and have knowledge in reading blueprints at a high level
• Can solder and braze pipes at an expertise level
• Working on branch lines, sewer lines, and water lines
• Gas, PVC, and PEX work as well as black pipe
• New construction /ground up construction - mid rises, high rises, office spaces, schools, and restaurants
• Ability to work independently and along with a team of junior mechanics and apprentices
• Cross train as junior mechanics and apprentices

Requirements:

• OSHA 30 and SST 10
• F60 OR G60
• Must be available 40 Hours a week.
• (PPE) Hard Hat, Steel Toe Boots, and High Visibility Vest
• Demonstrated effective communicating and interpersonal skills
• Must have 6+ years of plumbing experienc5
