Rollins offers a competitive salary, along with our generous full-time benefits package! Click here to review our full benefits package . Job Summary: The Rollins College Information Technology department is seeking a Programmer/Analyst to join their team!
  • Engage in the complete lifecycle of information systems, from requirements and analysis to design and development of complex integrations.
  • Deliver innovative solutions through use of Rollins SDK to improve business processes and drive digital transformation.
  • Develop and maintain systems integrations including applications, services, APIs, file transfers and queries.
  • Participate in migration of on-prem ERP and information systems to cloud and SaaS solutions.
  • Serve as a technical expert in design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of systems across the enterprise applications ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement procedures for data security, management, and compliance.
  • Implement new functionality and new system capabilities including data integrations with third-party systems.
  • Produce and present problem-solving rationale in collaboration with key stakeholders, working to develop an understanding of technical specifications and deliver features and services based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with other campus departments and vendors to understand business processes and optimize operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or College.
  • Experience developing and configuring API's.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and React.
Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field.
  • Computer Programming certifications.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with GraphQL and JSON in building integrations and automation.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, specifically in explaining complex business processes and technical concepts.
  • Skilled in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:
  • Campus-based position, working in an office environment with other staff members and internal stakeholders.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and visual strain working on a computer.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours which includes evenings and weekends as needed.
