Client Controller/CFO

In this pivotal role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the financial future of multiple not-for-profit organizations, working remotely to provide strategic guidance and support. **What You'll Do: - Be the financial backbone for several large and complex not-for-profit clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Craft accurate, timely financial statements that tell a story. You'll coach and counsel stakeholders and operations managers, helping them boost margins and positively impact their bottom line.
- Champion the budget process, incorporating regular analytics to keep your clients on track.
- Tackle intricate financial challenges head-on. You'll work closely with clients to navigate complex financial situations, monitor finances, and offer expert analysis and advice.
- Share your wealth of knowledge to elevate client operations. You'll collaborate with our internal teams to provide comprehensive financial consultations.
- Inspire and lead cross-functional teams, aligning their efforts with client delivery processes.
- Ensure client satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving any concerns or issues.
- Represent your clients at Board and executive-level meetings when requested.
- Mentor, train, and develop your direct reports, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. **What You'll Bring: **Must-Haves: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with an accounting/finance focus (or equivalent experience)
- Exceptional ability to juggle priorities and functions
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to build strong relationships
- Advanced proficiency in industry-specific accounting software and Excel
- 10+ years of experience in the not-for-profit sector
- 12+ years of experience as a Controller or CFO
- Business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives **Nice-to-Haves: - Master's Degree, CPA certification
- Experience managing and developing people
