Construction senior estimator

We are looking to expand our team and bring on an experienced Senior Estimator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction cost estimating, cost control, commercial/Hospitality/Multi-unit estimating, and the ability to read and understand blueprints. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for helping to maximize profits and minimize costs. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organizational skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. What You Will Be Doing As Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, as well as managing the budget and cost control. You will work closely with the design team to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing cost control strategies while monitoring the progress of the project. What You Need for this Position

• 7+ years of experience with estimating (commercial, mixed-use, restaurant, hotel and education projects)
• Previous and consistent work with projects from 1 million to 100 million dollars.
• Experience with estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam)
• The ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to have efficient and strategic communication skills.
• Travel will be required to visit jobsites; reliable transportation is required.
