THE ROLE...

A successful Restaurant General Manager and will have 5+ years experience managing high-volume restaurants (200 - 300 covers) in an upscale and food focused environment. You are passionate about food and look forward to engaging the local community to procure the highest quality product to create unforgettable experiences (for team-members & guests). The GM will promote staff development and champion a positive experience while also effectively communicate to get the job done. As an ambassador for Indigo Road you’ll strive to create memorable experiences for people through food.

As the Restaurant General Manager, you'll be an ambassador for IRHG and authentically embrace Internal Hospitality. You’ll look after all aspects of the restaurant including; operations, finances, people, culture, events, and more...

What You'll Do:

  • Lead with Passion: Bring your unwavering passion for restaurant, F&B and hospitality to the forefront. Be a part of the volunteer and charity initiatives we support and contribute to the betterment of the community we serve.
  • Nurture Your Team: Foster staff development and create a positive atmosphere that not only motivates our team but also ensures we meet our P&L goals.
  • Enrich Your Community: Engage with local vendors, business and farms to source quality products while also educating junior team members and advocating for their growth and development. Additionally, actively participate in and support our community's volunteer efforts and charitable initiatives to make a positive impact.
  • Be the Solution: Oversee all facets of the restaurant, resolving any challenges that arise by maintaining effective communication with team-members and the community.

VANDIVER...

Located on historic Main Street Clayton, Bridge Creek Inn  features 45-guest rooms, a coffee shop, a bar & restaurant, and multiple indoor / outdoor event venues. Best known for its mountains, rivers, and lakes, let our hotel be your basecamp for all Rabun County has to offer. Vandiver, the restaurant inside of Bridge Creek Inn will open early July 2024.

Requirements

WHAT TO EXPECT. IN THE LODGE, RESTAURANT, & ROOMS…Your schedule may vary (days, nights, weekends, holiday’s) based on seasonality, covers, and hours of operation but in general you can expect to work 55 to 60.
