Sous Chef Fine Dining Restaurant

We are looking for an energetic Sous Chef who can lead and manage our BOH team in a high-volume, upscale setting!

Sous Chef Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of Sous Chef level experience in a high-volume, upscale, scratch kitchen restaurant
• Experience with private dining and banquets is importants
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Team player with the ability to take direction

Sous Chef Responsibilities : 

• Hold BOH team members accountable for results while ensuring ongoing training and development
• Direct the food preparation activities for all service periods and special events in accordance with established recipes, production procedures, timing, portion control, and quality and presentation standards
• Financial Accountability - Monitor sales, food and labor cost, and related financial data on a regular basis
• Plan and communicate effectively with the leadership team and team members
•  Lead/Coach/Develop the Heart of the House team
