About the Area

Wilkes-Barre, PA is located in northeast Pennsylvania about a two hour drive north of Philadelphia and two hour drive west of New York City providing a great place to live and work with convenient access to major metros. Wilkes-Barre is situated in the upper Susquehanna River valley and offers a wide range of outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking/biking trails, four state parks and skiing in Pocono mountains. This area has four indoor concert and entertainment venues including a casino. Family friendly activities include museums, art galleries and minor league professional baseball and hockey teams. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Leadership that focuses on people development, specifically mentoring, training and developing clinical staff and colleagues
• Execute daily effective and optimal patient care management
• Ensure optimal execution of clinical model playbook as well as identify indicators for clinical improvement while also confirming accurate records/billing
• Build an appropriate treatment environment throughout center that follows State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/ WC Regulations

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS

• Board Certification 
• Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine
• Licensure requirements of the state of Pennsylvania
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
• Must be eligible to participate in Medicare
• Must be proficient with basic suturing/laceration repairs and basic X-ray reads
• Must be comfortable seeing a pediatric patient demographic two years and older
