Our Substance Abuse Outpatient Facility is currently seeking a full-time CASAC-T (Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor - Trainee) to become part of our team.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct intake assessments under supervision

- Provide both group and individual counseling sessions

- Lead psycho-educational groups centered around substance use disorders

- Maintain accurate patient progress documentation in accordance with state regulations

- Engage in clinical supervision meetings guided by a supervisor

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Requirements:

-CASAC-T license in the state of NY

-Substance abuse experience preferred
