CNA (Wound Care)

At NMC Health, we're proud to set an award-winning standard for healthcare, and your passion will go a long way as a  Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)  for our Wound Care.  In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to patients which includes the comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs, planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care.

As a CNA, you will use your dedication and compassion to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff. You will deliver care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups every day. Your valuable skills in independent decision making will be needed to help discern what is in the best interest of the patient/family. Other functions/ competencies of the position may include unit clerk, monitor technician, general clerical activities and basic nursing procedures.

As of 6/21/23 there is no longer a need for either vaccination confirmation or medical/religious exemption.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Licensure, registration or certification:

• Current Kansas CNA certification required
• Current certification in CPR/Basic Life Support preferred
