Under the general supervision of the Division Chief – EMS, the Community Paramedic provides follow-up assessments and treatment, in partnership with other health professionals. To provide access to care, while lessening the burden on the 911 system. These services include but are not limited to the post-COVID impacts of disease management and education, prevention and wellness, mental health, and home safety evaluations.
This is a Full-Time limited duration (grant funded) position that is expected to last no longer than 2 years. Limited duration positions are eligible for benefits.The functions listed below are characteristic of the type and level of work associated with this position. They are not all-inclusive. Individual may perform some or all, as well as other similar work.
