Construction Superintendent

Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is expanding its workforce! We are searching for a proficient Construction Superintendent to join our growing construction business line. This role entails scheduling, subcontractor management, communication with the client and building occupants, safety and occupational health management, monitoring, assessments, safety site orientation, activity-specific education, and assurance of compliance. This role is located in Ft. Detrick, MD. Compensation $115,000 - $125,000 yearly. Responsibilities:

• Secure any required licenses and permits from appropriate authorities to ensure construction is up to code
• Conduct business with external vendors, contractors, and critical subcontractors to negotiate profitable contracts
• Establish organizational processes for tools, equipment, and vehicles and arrange for maintenance as needed
• Prevent injuries, slowdowns, and project risks by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, and reporting safety regulation issues promptly
• Keep key stakeholders informed of the project’s status by producing frequent progress reports

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, blueprints, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles
• Superb leadership capability, organizational skills, time-management abilities, and communication skills
• Completed training for OSHA 30 license
• Experience using construction or project management software preferred
• One year of previous experience as a construction project manager required
• ASHE Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) is a plus
• Experience managing USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers) Projects
• 5 years of experience on similar projects, building renovations, and/or new construction
• OSHA 30hr
• Experience with Procore
• Experience with RMS
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF
