Job Description:

The C ook prepares, cooks, and serves well -balanced, nutritious meals .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Meal Preparation : Follows standardized recipes . Prepare everything on the menu for your shift and prep food for the next shift .

1. Meal Cooking: Cook and prepare mea ls . M ust be able t o read recipes / meal tickets to ensure proper distribution. Maintain proper portion control.

1. Cleaning: Maintain a clean kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash .

1. Food Storage: Ensures food and other items are stocked and stored properly .

1. Resident Interaction: Be polite and helpful to residents, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.

1. Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience is preferred but we are willing to train .
• Ability to pass a TB Test, Drug Test and Healthcare background check.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
• Ability to get to and from work reliably when scheduled.
