What You'll Get to Do: For this **HEO Design Engineer** position, you will support CACI's DOD customers in the development of products that enable Enhanced Cognitive Capabilities on the battlefield. You will oversee the development and design of the products and ensure they meet both customer and DOD standards. You will demonstrate competent writing and oral communication skills You will also ensure quality products and services are delivered to the customer More About the Role: + Your overall primary job responsibility consists of design engineering oversight, with the capture of end user requirements. You will oversee and participate in the design and support data (drawings, programs, BOMs, work instructions, specifications, drawings and technical manuals). + Works with DoD customers to capture design requirements and develop products for testing and evaluation. + Developing and designing products and systems based on customer requirements and industry standards. + Conducting research and testing to check the feasibility and viability of the design ideas, while optimizing user experience. + Reviewing and providing feedback on the designs of the development team. + Troubleshooting design-related issues and making necessary changes. + Attend project meetings as assigned. + Closely monitor project team performance, to include vendors, to ensure technical rigor and that materials and parts will be delivered on time and that the end product will meet customer needs. + Other duties as assigned.
