Embedded Security Technician

About the Position:

· The Technician will work onsite within a Data Center environment and will be part of the Services Team. 

· Responsible for managing the security service tickets (access control, CCTV, Alarm) created for the Data Center and reporting the status of each ticket within their Smartsheet form. 

· A laptop and cell phone will be provided to be connected to the customer intranet and communicate with the team.

· The technician will be responsible to an eight (8) hour shift, Monday thru Friday. Start end times usually exist in the early morning hours to the early afternoon. Exact start/end times will be decided on what works best for the site. 

Qualifications :

· Three (3) or more years of experience.

· Self-driven and highly technical, lead installation or service tech.

· Field experience or long-term support of various access control, door and video components.

· C-Cure Certification a plus. Must be able to complete with in 6 months of start.

· Genetec experience a plus

· Mastery knowledge of trouble shooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.

· Must have a working knowledge to full understanding of local/national codes.

· Must have a mastery knowledge of test equipment, such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.

· Must be able to pass drug test and background check
