Environmental Services Project Managers in Phoenix, AZ Primary job responsibility is to assist in the management of an assigned hospital Environmental Services Department Prepare the incumbent to assume the operational duties of a department through hands-on training and managerial experience

Responsibilities
• Work scheduling of all department personnel • Establishing and enforcing work standards • Monitoring overall inventory/equipment usage • Troubleshooting/problem solving • Orientation/training of department staff • Customer relations • Special project work • Participate in staff selection process • Conduct quality assurance checks • Manage materials inventory and equipment use • Ensure staff receives proper orientation, initial training, and ongoing education • Provide guidance and motivation to staff • Discipline associates when necessary • Maintain sanitary and orderly condition • Demonstrate and promote the company's culture, values, and management philosophy • Demonstrate quality leadership • Conduct disciplinary meetings with associates • Maintain an environment that is in sanitary, attractive and orderly condition
Requirements
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred • One to three years of supervisory experience in a service-related field • Strong service/quality attitude • Ability to plan, organize prioritize, and achieve effective time management • Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives • Strong public speaking skills • Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines; self-directed • Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods • Requires bending, stooping, reaching up and lifting up to 50 pounds • Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment • Proficient in the use of Windows based office software
