Job Description - Geriatrics LPN

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team on a per diem basis providing exceptional care to our geriatric patients in the Lehigh Valley area. This position offers a flexible schedule competitive pay and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of elderly patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs medical history and progress.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing dressing and mobility.
  • Provide wound care and manage catheters or feeding tubes as needed.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 1year experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patientfocused attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
