Human Resources Specialist / $70K-$90K per year / Mequon, WI

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist/Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Experience supporting and administering benefits packages.
• Experience running payroll.

Nice To Haves:

• Automotive experience
• Experience with ADP as a HRIS and payroll system
• Experience with automating systems and processes
• Experience recruiting
• Experience with employment law

Role: Human Resources Specialist at Sommer's Automotive

Schedule : On-site Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. No Weekends!

Job Type:  Full-Time

Location:  Mequon, Wisconsin

Compensation : $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 Yearly

Some Responsibilities Include :

• Manage employee relations and guide HR policies and procedures.
• Oversee the full cycle of talent management, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Provide administrative support to the HR department, maintaining accurate employee records and preparing reports.
• Collaborate directly with the Controller and Ownership on HR-related matters.
• Coordinate employee events and facilitate internal communications.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations through regular training programs.
• Administer benefits packages and support employees in understanding and utilizing them effectively.
