In Home Caregiver-Hermosa area NEEDED ASAP

Job Summary: Village Caregiving, located in Rapid City, South Dakota, is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time/Full time In Home Caregiver In the Hermosa area. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes. The In Home Caregiver will work directly with our clients, providing personal care assistance and helping to improve their overall quality of life. **Days/Nights and Overnight shifts available** Compensation & Benefits: The In Home Caregiver position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $18 to $20, paid semi-monthly. In addition, we offer flexible scheduling options and a supportive work environment. We also provide ongoing training and resources to ensure our caregivers are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to provide the best care to our clients. Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation, if needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client care activities
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and our team to ensure quality care is being provided
• Monitor clients for any changes in their health status or needs, and report to supervisor as necessary
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare field preferred, but not required
• Compassionate and empathetic nature with the ability to build strong rapport with clients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
