Infusion Pharmacy Technician

A large healthcare organization is looking for a CONTRACT Pharmacy Tech for the Tampa Florida area.

Position - Infusion Pharm Tech

Ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)?
a. Pharmacy Technician
b. Sterile Compounding (preferred)
c. CPR+ Software (not required)

The team make-up is 9 Pharmacy Technicians, 7 pharmacists

Top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
a. Dispense any or all of the following: unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, enteral and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
b. May compound medications using appropriate components, supplies and sterile/ventilated environment.
c. Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data, submit prescription orders in computer system. Contact members/patients to validate data, resolve rejected claims, request payment information, establish priority of order or delivery details, consult on medication issues, and set up treatment in on-site facilities.
d. Process prescriptions or prior authorization cases through on-line systems -Enter data (e.g., member or clinical) into computer systems that is used for making automated or clinical decisions.
e. Utilize phone systems effectively to answer, make or transfer calls Skills/attributes are a must have (Please be detailed as to number of years of experience)?
License Pharmacy tech, 1+ year(s) experience
Sterile compounding, CPR+ Software, Microsoft suite

Work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc)
8:30-5:00pm Overtime or weekend work - Not required but possible overtime
