NaphCare is currently hiring  Licensed Mental Health Professionals  (LCSWs, LMHCs, LMFTs, etc.)  just like you at the Wayne County Jail located in Detroit, MI. FT, PT, PRN shifts are available. Pay rates range based on type of license, certification, shift, site needs, licensure, and experience.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing. 

Position Description:

• Masters prepared candidate with active, unrestricted licensure as a (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.)  


• 1 year experience preferred


• Perform and document mental health evaluations, progress notes, individual and group counseling notes and suicide watch notes


• Coordinate with healthcare and security staff regarding patients’ mental health care and release dates


• Participate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients, security personnel, and healthcare staff


• Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V / DSM-V-TR criteria
