LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach is Seeking an LPN Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach is an award-winning senior care provider servicing the community in Virginia Beach. We provide exceptional in-home care to seniors to help foster independence, safety, and comfort.
 

We are seeking a reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN State of Virginia) to join our team. This is not a hands on direct care role.  We are classified as nonmedical so the focus is providing client assessments and recertifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for going to the hospitals quickly when a client is sent there to coordinate our care before discharge happens.
 
You will be a GREAT fit if you are organized, energized, professional, and passionate about people and teamwork. This position will be 40-50 hours weekly primarily M-F  Pay: $27 per hour

Duties:

• Provide non-medical care management to seniors in their homes 
• Work with hospitals to ensure smooth discharge
• Enter care notes and assessments into software
• Participate in staff team photos and networking events

Requirements:

• Currently licensed as an LPN
• Reliable transportation to commute to and from client homes
• Can-do attitude and professional demeanor
• Able to pass a background check
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Sense of humor
• Passion for quality care and the elderly community.
