LVN - Clinic

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Clinic LVN in San Francisco for a wonderful established healthcare orgnization. This is a fulltime position with salary and benefits.



Job Overview:


As part of our dynamic team the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) operates under the guidance of the Program/Clinic Manager the clinical direction of a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) and the oversight of the Associate Nurse Manager. This role is crucial in delivering direct nursing care to our valued patients ensuring their health and wellbeing.



Key Responsibilities:


Efficiently process relay and execute all medication orders in accordance with clinic guidelines.
Administer and manage medication distribution as directed by medical staff.
Provide exemplary nursing care and treatments to patients within the Day Health Clinic.
Keep clinic supplies wellstocked and organized.
Contribute significantly to the interdisciplinary team by sharing nursing insights during planning problemsolving and procedural activities.
Educate guide and support patients geriatric aides and family members on nursing care requirements and related issues.
Perform additional tasks as needed to support patient care.


Requirements:


Completion of an accredited LVN program.
Active LVN licensure in California.
Proven interest and capability in working with the elderly or frail populations with at least one year of experience.
Selfmotivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Bilingual skills may be necessary for certain positions.
