Manages the procurement process for Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH). Negotiates contracts facilitating product acquisition for patient care. Responsible for providing customer service necessary for end-users and clinicians to acquire products as efficiently as possible at the best possible prices. Maintains computer systems utilized in supporting the procurement process.

Director/Purchasing.

Supervises:

Buyer and Department Secretary 

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Human Resources (HR) may accept relevant, directly related work experience in lieu of the required post-secondary education on a 1-year:1-year basis. Experience accepted in lieu of education will not be applied toward the minimum experience requirement below. Required Experience:

Four (4) years of supply chain or purchasing experience (including management/direct supervisory experience). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. Required Certification/License/Registry: 

None.
