The Mobile Dental & Primary Care clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily
operations of a mobile clinic, ensuring the efficient delivery of dental & primary care services to
senior living communities. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a
commitment to improving oral health outcomes in diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Coordinate and schedule mobile dental clinic visits to various locations, including community ALF, nursing homes, and other designated sites.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of dental equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, including ordering and restocking as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patient visits, treatments provided, and other relevant data.
2. Staff Supervision:
- Recruit, train, and supervise dental staff, including dentists, hygienists, RN, LPN and support personnel.
- Schedule and allocate staff resources efficiently to meet patient demand and operational requirements.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality patient care.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance measures to uphold clinical standards and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of clinic operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement best practices for patient care and service delivery.
4. Community Engagement:
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations and community leaders to promote the mobile clinic and increase access to services.
- Participate in community outreach events and health fairs to raise awareness about oral health and preventive care.
- Respond to inquiries from community members and stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing information about clinic services/operations.
5. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous experience in healthcare management, preferably in a dental or community health setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of dental practice management software and electronic health records systems.
- Commitment to promoting oral health equity and serving populations.
