Job Description - MOHS Surgeon

Job Title: MOHS Surgeon Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Determined on experience We are a renowned dermatology clinic dedicated to providing exceptional skin care through advanced treatments and compassionate patient care. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MOHS Surgeon to join our dynamic team. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. Position Overview: The MOHS Surgeon will be responsible for performing MOHS micrographic surgery to treat skin cancer, ensuring complete tumor removal while preserving healthy tissue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dermatologic surgery, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Key Responsibilities: * Perform MOHS micrographic surgery, including pre-operative consultations, surgery, and post-operative care.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dermatologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Educate patients and their families about skin cancer prevention, treatment options, and post-operative care.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Stay current with advancements in dermatologic surgery and participate in continuing education opportunities. Qualifications: * Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
* Board certification in Dermatology.
* Fellowship training in MOHS surgery.
* Valid state medical license.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience performing MOHS surgery.
* Excellent surgical and diagnostic skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
