Nanny

Position Summary: A busy Greenwich, Connecticut family is seeking a skilled Nanny to care for their young child Monday through Friday from 11am until 7pm. The ideal candidate has previously cared for a pre-school child, is highly organized, and available to travel from time to time. If you are talented, hardworking, detail-oriented, and a team player the family would like to meet you. Childcare Responsibilities: Build connections with the child and provide care, warmth, and security. Drive the child to and from school and activities. Stay abreast of educational and developmental milestones. Prepare healthy snacks and meals and encourage good eating habits. Plan educational and age-appropriate activities i.e. museums, parks, and/or playdates. Actively engage with the child by playing, singing, crafting, etc. Household Responsibilities: Help keep the child's spaces neat and tidy. Work as a team with the principal and other staff to ensure the day runs smoothly. Child related housekeeping including laundry, sheets, etc. Assist with the care of a small, well-trained dog. Qualifications: First Aid and CPR Certified or willing to be certified. Strong swimmer. Excellent communication skills. Outstanding references with related experience. Fluency in Spanish a plus. Long term intent. Schedule: This is a full-time, year-round position. Generally, Monday Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with flexibility to stay later.
