Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care • Provide leadership and supervision for nursing care activities • Evaluate effectiveness of patient care and identify areas for improvement • Collaborate with healthcare team, patients, and families for care planning • Assess and provide education based on patient and family needs • Participate in quality improvement and research activities • Utilize available resources for cost-effective patient care • Identify growth needs and participate in educational opportunities • Serve as a role model or preceptor to new nurses • Care for patients from arrival to admission or facilitate timely discharges
Requirements
• Current RN license in Rhode Island • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred • NIHSS Certification within 3 months of hire • Completion of MAECC / AANN Training Program within 1 year of hire • Certificate in Seizure and Epilepsy Healthcare Professional within 1 year of hire
