NP Employee Health

A healthcare organization in Brooklyn is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their growing Employee Health team. In this role, the Employee Health NP will be responsible for providing the clinical services needed to evaluate the medical fitness of new hires and existing employees and provide ongoing health screening as needed.
About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 4pm
• Specialty: Employee Health / Occupational Health
• Patient Population: Adults

Responsibilities:
The Employee Health NP will be responsible for:

• Doing physicals
• Drawing blood
• Ordering tests
• Assessing the overall physical and psychological wellbeing of new hire candidates and existing employees
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
• NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
• Experience in Employee Health
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
