Nurse Practitioner I Physician Assistant, Tulsa OK

Our client, a private outpatient Cardiology practice in Tulsa OK is seeking to add an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to their growing team.  The APP will play a pivotal role in patient care, involving responsibilities such as conducting assessments, administering treatments, monitoring patients, managing overall patient care, and providing education to patients and their families. This position requires collaborative work with our team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff.

Advanced Practice Provider Qualifications & Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited MSN OR Physician Assistant program
• Licensed by the State of Oklahoma as a Physician Assistant/ NP (or willing to get), in good standing with the state medical board
• Preferably, a minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiology, cardiovascular disease, or a related field or interest in cadiology
• NPs must have Acute Care Certification
• Strong clinical skills with in-depth knowledge of cardiology and cardiovascular health
• Proficient in conducting physical exams and interpreting diagnostic tests, including EKGs and echocardiograms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact empathetically and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Commitment to staying current on developments in cardiology and cardiovascular health.
