Phlebotomist - Urgent

Do you want to be a valued member of a team who plays a critical role in providing excellent care to patients in a lab setting? Do you possess excellent patient service skills? If so, consider joining our team working as a Phlebotomist . Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Matching laboratory requisition forms to specimen tools
• Disposing of contaminated sharps, in accordance with applicable laws, standards, and policies
• Drawing blood from veins by vacuum tube, syringe, or butterfly venipuncture methods
• Disposing of blood and other biohazard fluids or tissue, in accordance with applicable laws, standards, or policies
• Drawing blood from capillaries by dermal puncture, such as heel or finger stick methods

Key qualifications to be considered for this include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association within first days from hire
• Electronic mail software and medical software experience preferred
• Superior service orientation mentality
• Active listening skills
• Social perceptiveness
• Problem sensitivity
