$5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab 1VP at Kadlec Regional Medical Center

Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, performs a variety of functions related to specimen collection, specimen processing, data entry, receiving and logging phone orders, retrieving lab results for physicians or their representatives, control and management of confidential information and documents, and report sorting and filing. Specimen collection for blood samples will be restricted to venous or capillary access.

This is a part-time position working variable schedule, 40 hours per two-week pay period.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution

• Completion of a formal Phlebotomy Training Program

• Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification

• One (1) year of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• National certification by one or more agencies (e.g., ASCP, ASPT, NCA, NPA, or AMT)

• Healthcare experience
